Soukayna
Co-Founder Soukayna began her journey in the hair industry at just 16, working her way up to become the talented and versatile stylist she is today. She specializes in balayage and highlights, with expertise across all hair types. Known for her speed and precision, Soukayna stays up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques to deliver fresh, fashion-forward results. She takes great pride in her work and is passionate about creating a welcoming experience for every client — helping them leave the salon feeling confident, beautiful, and renewed.
Naoual
Originally from Morocco, moved to the US to live the American dream and is the proud owner of HairPlay salon. Naoual has loved doing hair since she was a child but has been a hairstylist professionally for 30 years. She is comfortable working with all different hair types, and specializes in highlights, color, and curly hair. Her hobbies include fashion, so she is always keeping up with the latest trends with hair to give you that sleek modern look and persona.
Gokhan
From Istanbul, Turkey originally. He has worked throughout Europe with 30 years’ experience, specializes in balayage Keratin short, and long hair, not to mention he gives a phenomenal blow dry, Gokhan has a niche for making women feel beautiful as he does for his daughter always.
Jiji
Jiji is a highly skilled hairstylist with 20 years of experience, specializing in long hair, up-dos, balayage, highlights, and makeup. Known for enhancing natural beauty, she creates stunning hair and makeup looks tailored to each client’s style. Whether bold and glamorous or soft and natural, Jiji’s personalized approach and expert technique ensure every client leaves feeling confident and beautiful.
Sam
Originally from Jordan, Sam brings over 25 years of hairstyling experience. Specializing in highlights, up-dos, haircuts, and blowouts, he’s known for his precision, creativity, and dedication. By understanding each client’s vision, he creates styles that enhance natural features and fit their lifestyle, earning a loyal following for both everyday and special occasion looks.
David
With 45 years in the industry, this senior stylist has perfected highlights and men’s haircuts. Known for truly listening, he takes the time to understand each client’s vision, ensuring they leave looking and feeling their best. His dedication and personal touch have built a loyal, close-knit clientele he’s proud to call friends.
Hulya
Meet Hulya, originally from Istanbul, Turkey. A master hair stylist in high end salons in Turkey with more than 25 years of expertise. Over the course of her extensive career, she acquired a diverse skill set while specializing in all services. from haircutting to color services, with a focus on highlighting and balayage.
Reema
Shaping and threading eyebrows has always fueled her passion for beauty and style. For over 20 years, Reema has been perfecting her craft, driven by the satisfaction of enhancing each client’s natural features. Her goal is to create well-proportioned, balanced brows that frame the face beautifully and bring out one’s unique expression.

Do you know the saying “like Mother like Daughter”? Hair Play Salon is a mother, Daughter owned Salon. Naoual, the mother, has been doing hair since 1995, so, it was only right that her daughter followed. With Soukayna watching her mother as a kid it is almost as if hair was in her blood, starting off doing her friends hair at 15 she is also young and experienced. From classic bobs to all the new color trends, this salon does it all. It was always a dream for them to open their own hair salon, and have it laid out the way she envisioned it; not only did she accomplish this goal, but she did it with her daughter.

Please read the following instructions carefully For a seamless booking experience. Here at Hair Play Salon, we value your time and business, for that we have 2 ways for you to book with us.
Phone Booking
You can book your appointement by calling us any time during our normal Business Hours You can reach us at: (703) 824-4247
Booking through VAGARO
We Partner with Vagaro to provide you with the best booking experience possible, it allows you to see our available time slots with your favorite stylist, to browse through all of our available services and book directly into our calendar.
When booking through Vagaro you will have to login; Either through Google, Facebook or Apple Login. You can also make an account using your email.
A deposit is required for New clients’ first appointments. Once you’ve visited us, future appointments do not require a deposit.
We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred stylist and time, though walk-ins are welcome based on availability. We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling; late cancellations, no-shows, or arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in a cancellation fee, and guests who miss an appointment without notice may be required to leave a deposit for future bookings.
Color services and haircuts are non-refundable if we are unable to correct the service within 7 days of your appointment date. If you have any concerns regarding your service, please contact us within 7 days so we can evaluate and make any necessary adjustments. Blowouts and updos are non-refundable. If you are dissatisfied with your service, you must notify us before leaving the salon so we can make immediate adjustments. Once you leave the salon, we are unable to offer corrections or refunds for these services.
At this time, our stylists specialize in select hair textures and service types. Due to the specific techniques, products, and equipment we use, we are not currently equipped to provide services for certain tightly coiled or highly textured hair types.To ensure you receive the best possible results and care for your hair, we recommend seeking a stylist who specializes in those textures and services.
